Coop: A year of Poultry, Pigs and Parenting by Michael Perry follows his life on a ramshackle farm in Wisconsin as he prepares to become a father (again) while facing 37 acres of overgrown, under-tended farm land. His writing is humorous and he often reflects on his life growing on a dairy farm. Surely to be a memoir worth reading.
